The EcoChic Design Award is returning for its fifth year, and this time around organisers Redress are celebrating this milestone anniversary by showcasing even more outstanding sustainable design talent from around the world. Bloomsbury Publishing is proud to support this event for the third year in a row and can’t wait to show you this year’s entries.
We love having the opportunity to sponsor a project like the Eco-Chic design awards and are very keen to put sustainable sourcing and design in the spotlight. This international contest continues to grow year after year, and it’s great to see so many students, graduates and designers from across the globe replicating the latest zero-waste and reconstruction techniques.
As we did in 2013 and 2014, we’re offering every finalist a free subscription to the Berg Fashion Library, whilst this year’s 2nd and 3rd place contestants will get a choice of as many books from the Basics Fashion Design series as they would like. The lucky 1st place winner will receive 1 year access to all areas of Bloomsbury Fashion Central, including Fairchild Books, Berg Fashion Library and the Fashion Photography Archive!
