Bloomsbury Fashion Central, the leading hub for fashion research that includes Berg Fashion Library, Fairchild Books textbooks +STUDIO and the new Fashion Photography Archive, is already winning awards in its first year of launch. We are delighted to announce the following:

Bloomsbury Fashion Central has been awarded Platform of the Year in the Reference/Education category at The Bookseller FutureBook Awards! Judge George Burgess said of the Bloomsbury win:

“We were really impressed with the breadth of Bloomsbury’s fashion resources, in particular the various media types that ranged from videos to quizzes and flashcards. The user experience was impressive for an educational product, and it has been well thought out from both the student and the instructor’s perspective.”

The redesigned Berg Fashion Library site has been named Most Improved Product from The Charleston Advisor “Best and Worst” Readers’ Choice Awards. The Charleston Report notes:

“Since moving to Bloomsbury Publishing Plc, the new Berg Fashion Library is getting rave reviews from librarians and users. It has a cleaner interface and is much more navigable. The service has integrated text and image content on fashion and dress around the world, from the past to the present.”
