Introducing… David Lodge

ava s-m blad:basics blad template

A recent graduate of South East Essex College with some interesting projects…

I picked up some of David Lodge’s work at last month’s New Designers show in North London. I was particularly impressed by his series of screen printed “Now We’re Talking” posters, which constitute, in the man’s own words:

a publication creating awareness of technology’s influence on our physical social communication. The inside pages document an investigation into commuters, and their reaction to posters designed to create conversation. On the reverse, a series of truisms aim to sum up the contrast between online and offline communication.

Here are some pictures from his site. They’re a testament to a powerful statement, presented simply.

There’s plenty more of interest on his site. His identity/logo is particularly neat. Someone give the man a job!
