Bloomsbury Academic and Professional has once again been shortlisted for the Independent Publishers Guild Awards! We’re up for the Frankfurt Book Fair Academic & Professional Publisher of the Year, while our friends over at Drama Online have also been shortlisted for the Ingram Content Group Digital Publishing Award.
Bloomsbury Academic & Professional took the flagship IPG Independent Publisher of the Year Award last year, and pushed on in 2013 by launching ambitious digital projects and broadening its publishing and sales channels. Judges noted that growth had been organic as well as via bolt-ons like Hart in 2013.
“It is still growing in a market that has been largely flat. Its acquisitions have been astute and it has been rewarded with some impressive figures.”
The winners will be announced at a Gala Dinner during the IPG’s Annual Conference on Thursday 27 February.
