YourView 2014: for fashion students worldwide

This year we have partnered up with ModeConnect to bring you the 2014 YourView Fashion Design competition. All you need is to take three photos of one of your fabulous course projects to enter. Could you be our winner?

1) Are you a fashion student?

2) Would you like to show off your best work and discuss it with your peers?

2) Do you want to have your own brand one day?

If the answer is yes, then we might have just the way to get you started right here. All you need to do is pick your best fashion design project, take three fabulous pictures of it, and press “send”! You can Tweet them, Instagram them, or submit them online.

You have until 18 May 2014 to do this, however the sooner you send it the more time your work will be featured, seen, and discussed by ModeConnect and your peers, and the more time you’ll have to start building up a great network of contacts. The full T&Cs can be found here.

Just by entering, you will be able to connect with your peers worldwide and start developing those all-important relationships. ModeConnect and us will be broadcasting #YourView2014 on Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and Tumblr with your images, name, location and speciality, inviting others to engage with you and your work.

If you become a finalist you will also get interviewed about your experience and work, and the winner will also get the full set of our gorgeous Fashion Design series from our Fairchild Books imprint:

“Launched in January 2013 YourView was born from the unsolicited submissions of their work by members of the Modeconnect community. Modeconnect editorial team was impressed and decided to provide a space on Modeconnect website for undergraduate students to share their experience of fashion projects carried out through their studies. The work is so good we felt it deserved rewarding and “YourView” competition was born!”
