To mark the publication of new textbook Perspectives on Place: Theory and Practice in Landscape Photography, author Jesse Alexander will be giving a free talk on some of the current themes, trends and dilemmas within contemporary representation of the land and the environment. The talk will be followed by a panel discussion that will be chaired by Colin Pantall. Refreshments will be available, and the book will be on sale at an exclusive launch discount price.
Jesse Alexander is a photographer, writer and educator. He has written extensively for publications including Source Photographic Review, Hotshoe International and Photomonitor. He is Visiting Lecturer in Documentary Photography at the University of South Wales, Newport and Photography Course Leader at the Open College of the Arts.
